From Chicago Roots to Global Reach
TableCraft began in downtown Chicago when our founder, Adolph Davis, set out to support the cityʼs rapidly growing restaurant scene. It was a vibrant time -- the rise of deep-dish pizza, bustling diners, rolling roast-beef carts, and the expansion of Italian cuisine across the city.
From those early years, TableCraft became known for reliable, well-crafted essentials. Yes, even ashtrays for hospitals -- it truly was a different era. But alongside those, many of our original classics -- squeeze bottles, serving baskets, tabletop favorites -- remain best-sellers worldwide. Our iconic plastic baskets, in particular, can be found on nearly every continent.
As demand grew, we relocated to the northern suburbs of Chicago -- first to Lincolnwood, Northbrook, and later to Gurnee --expanding into larger warehouses and bringing more team members into the TableCraft family.
